The Office of Special Education and Early Intervention Services invites you to attend the first SECAC meeting of the 2024-2025 school year. The hybrid meeting will take place at Prince Street Elementary School on Thurs., Sept. 26 from 6:00pm – 7:30 pm. Please contact Lavon Adkins laadkins@mywcps.org for the Zoom link.
Prince Street families, it is time for our annual book character pumpkin contest for grades 1st - 5th. If you choose to participate, pumpkins need to be turned in to the media center October 16th and 17th. Contact Mrs. Deal with any questions, ginadeal@mywcps.org.

Today is the day for the State Superintendent of School's Community Forum in Wicomico County. Dr. Carey M. Wright is kicking off a statewide series of Community Forums on Tuesday, Sept. 17, in Wicomico County Public Schools at Salisbury Middle School from 5-6 p.m. We invite students, families, educators, and community members to join the conversation on elevating public education in Maryland. Journey, our local therapy pony, visited with Mrs. Phillips' students today.
Wicomico County Public Schools will be offering the first Family Success Night on Monday, September 16th from 5:00 -7:30 p.m. at Prince Street Elementary (400 Prince Street; Salisbury, MD 21804); Please plan to enter the school through the side entrance on Spring Avenue.
There will be childcare for children ages 4-12, and interpreters for Spanish, Haitian Creole and Portuguese speakers. A light dinner will be provided (first come, first served).
Ms. Cooper's 2nd grade class created towers during a stem activity.
5th grade students create art from a mystery bag.
First week is in the books. Thank you parents for sending your scholars to school on time. Thank you for being patient with our dismissal process. Let's work together to make this a great year!

Save the Date (Sept. 17)! State Superintendent of Schools Dr. Carey M. Wright will kick off her statewide series of Community Forums with a Community Forum in Wicomico County on Tuesday, Sept. 17. The forum will be held at Salisbury Middle School and will take place from 5-6 p.m. It is open to the entire community to attend.
